Stevns

Stevns is a sweet sparkling cherry wine. Stevns is made from hand-sorted Danish cherries of the variety Stevnsbær. The Danish cherries have optimal conditions in the Nordic climate, where the temperature differences between the cool nights and the long bright days give a long ripening time, which develops a fantastic aroma and a completely unique acid profile.

The cherries are crushed and fermented at a low temperature together with the skins to give the flavorful wine. Before the cherry wine is fermented a second time in the bottle, it is blended with our apple wine to create the perfect balance between aroma and acidity. Before the wine is disgorged, it has aged in the bottle for a minimum of 9 months. Finally, dosage is added, which turns Stevns into a sparkling dessert wine.

Stevns is served cold with desserts such as chocolate cake, wreath cake, rice salamander, confectionery and cheese.
