Sur Lie is a sparkling apple wine made from Danish Belle de Boskoop Apples. After the steel tank fermentation is complete, the lees are left in the tank so that the now inactive yeast will be stirred for several months, adding complexity and flavor to the wine. Produced in the méthode traditionale, Sur Lie will be matured and disgorged after a minimum of 6 months in the bottle.
Sur Lie is suitable for aperitif, fish, seafood and cheese.
